Abstract :
This paper shows that it is possible to establish upper and lower bounds for local field quantities, namely the value of a field component at a point. The technique uses an extension of the error based approach. The main limitation is that it can be used only for static linear fields, e.g. in linear magnetostatics and electrostatics
