  • Abstract
This article reports on state-of-the-art improvements in microbolometer technology through an ongoing set of laboratory and field experiments. The availability of low-cost, high thermal and physical resolution digital IR imaging equipment may provide a new method for the investigation of human circulatory conditions, resulting in improved diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to a wide variety of medical applications.
