Abstract
Assisted suicide is a difficult, complex topic. In this essay I have only examined a few of the issues. In particular, I have not examined the difference between providing fatal medicine that the patient can take at home and a lethal injection by a physician in a hospital setting. This distinction takes us to a discussion of euthanasia.
