Abstract :
We report the results of beam propagation analysis of quasiphase matched second harmonic generation devices. For numerical solutions of nonlinear evolutional equations, the finite element beam propagation method is chosen, and in order to improve numerical accuracy and efficiency, the Pade approximation and the perfectly matched layer are introduced. This method is applied to a few quasiphase matched second harmonic generation devices
