Abstract :
The author describes a method of designing a high-fidelity lowpass finite-impulse-response (FIR) filter having a maximally flat passband and an optimally contoured stopband in the Chebyshev sense. Certain other filters can be derived from it, including a lowpass filter with an equirippled passband and a maximally flat stop band
