Abstract :
The authors report successful transmission of 16 channels at 10 Gbit/s spaced by 20 GHz using duobinary format over a single span of 170 km fibre with an average Q of 17.3 dB. This is the first successful demonstration of duobinary WDM transmission with a PRBS length >215-1
