Abstract :
A 9-to-1 optoelectronic receiver/switch module containing switched photodetectors. Monolithic microwave integrated circuit amplifiers and impedance transformers has been constructed from chip-level and surface-mount components. This module is designed for 10.5 to 16.0 GHz local-oscillator inputs that are modulated onto lightwave carriers. Bias-switching of the photodetectors produces an on/off ratio of >70 to 75 dB at the combined microwave output
