Abstract
A nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) method of determining the mass of the magnetic particles present in a fluid by observing the relative frequency shift of an NMR signal is proposed. Experimental tests have been carried out to find the ratio of the mass of the beads to the total mass of the liquid with various densities by using this method. The method can be used to measure masses in a fluid containing a low concentration of magnetic particles
