  • Abstract
    On March 25, 1998, the scientific community unexpectedly lost a remarkable and most productive colleague. Urs E. Ruttimann, Ph.D., was one of that rare breed of individuals who makes solid and noteworthy contributions with little fuss and fanfare. His life and works are briefly reviewed.
