Abstract :
The commenter notes that, in Section IV of the above-named work (see ibid., vol.4, p.386-96, Aug. 1988), R.C. Luo et al. propose a probabilistic methodology for the fusion of sensor data. He claims that the logic and technical development in this section are terribly flawed. In replying, Luo points out that there were several typographic errors in the original paper, but he rejects the substance of the commenter´s remarks.<>
