Abstract
This paper presents a new architecture of high volume data management platform which could integrate the data generated by smart grid effectively and provide the cross-department analytical applications and enterprise-wide decision-making support. The designed and developed architecture consists of five major components - unified data model; characteristics-based data clustering management; multi-bus data transfer scheme; real-time event process; and data services. The scenario simulation results and case studies show the effectiveness of the designed architecture, and the architecture´s optimized performance meets the smart grid high volume data management requirement.
