Abstract :
A new synthesis procedure for the realization of 2-terminal-pair networks without ideal transformers is given. A new theorem is formulated concerning the necessary and sufficient conditions to be satisfied by a prescribed set of impedance or admittance functions for it to be realized as a symmetrical lattice network with series impedances (or shunt admittances) at either end of the structure, without ideal transformers. A numerical example is included to illustrate the synthesis procedure.
