Call for papers

Articles are now welcome for the special art and animation issue (July 1985) of IEEE Computer Graphics and Applications. Appropriate topics include (but are not limited to) systems for artists dealing with image generation and object synthesis, animation, and languages; the use of AI techniques and the criteria for the evaluation of art and animation; the theoretical and practical aspects of computer animation and computer-assisted animation systems, both 2-D and 3-D; experimental and/or personal techniques in use by fine artists; case studies of the use of existing systems by illustrators, as well as proposals of new methodologies for computer-aided illustration; systems and concepts that encourage user evolution. Manuscripts must be submitted by January 31, 1985.
