Abstract :
The margin of stability of two-dimensional (2-D) continuous systems is considered. In particular, the definition of the stability margins for a 2-D discrete system is extended to a 2-D continuous one. Two methods to compute the stability margin of 2-D continuous systems are presented. Illustrative examples are provided.
