Abstract
The authors present an equivalent magnetic circuit for a solenoid linear variable differential transformer. Using magnetic circuit theory, the calculations for its magnetic circuit reluctance, mutual inductance, output voltage and sensitivity are provided. Experimental tests are used to verify the calculations
