Abstract :
In this paper selected methods of signal processing and a neural network model were applied to crack size and shape determination from measurements of an eddy-current probe response. Newly developed by authors, a moving magnetic field type sensor has been used in the system. Experiments with test specimens have been performed. Results of these experiments proved that the proposed system is useful in crack detection and identification
