Abstract :
Nine Raman orders covering a 130 nm bandwidth in the visible range have been generated in an optical fibre using a visible fibre pump source based on a seeded ytterbium amplifier and second harmonic generation in periodically poled KTP. A tunable, compact, fibre-based visible source has been demonstrated
