Abstract :
The frequency-response characteristic of a modulation model is compared with the upper-sideband frequency response of the actual system being modelled. The design of RC compensating networks is simplified by combining a known realisability criterion with the predictable phase shift from a parallelT network, so that a desired phase shift can be achieved from a realisable parallelT network.
