Abstract :
This brief presents a definition to a general data-weighted averaging algorithm that realizes D/A converter (DAC) mismatch shaping transfer function of the form 1 ?? z - D. The mathematical background of the transfer function leads to an intuitive algorithm realized as a simple fixed-point simulation model that converges into a hardware-efficient realization. One potential target for the generalized algorithm would be applying existing spurious-tone suppression techniques for bandpass converters.
