Abstract :
A direct relationship is established between the flux swing in a ferrite-loaded coaxial line and the difference in volt-second area between the incident and transmitted waveforms. The equation provides the necessary line length in terms of the incident waveform and the specified ferrite parameters, such that the full shock front build-up will occur
