Abstract :
Considering the circular patch microstrip antenna as a lossy resonator with wall admittance, the authors discuss the current distribution on the feeding probe by solving the integral equation. It is shown that the current distribution is uniform if only the ratio of the thickness to the wavelength in substrate is less than 0.3 (i.e., dε<0.3)
