Abstract :
A practical and relatively simple method of measuring correlation functions is presented. The method, which is applicable to all orders of correlation functions, is based upon orthogonal expansions. The application of this method to the experimental determination of a second-order crosscorrelation function is discussed in detail and some experimental results are presented.
