Abstract :
A methodology is presented to coordinate multiple controllers based on minimizing a criterion, and in order to enhance the damping of power oscillations. A procedure is carried out using the linearized version for the system under a nominal case, though the proposed methodology indirectly takes into account different operating points to obtain robust controllers. Simulation results show that the controllers can improve the transient stability of the power system under three-phase faults, considering different load levels.
