Abstract :
A new automatic gain control system designed specifically for MFSK modems is described. The AGC system developed has been designed to operate with the CABS MFSK modem. The gain control signal is derived directly from the noncoherent correlator outputs. A theoretical study of the behaviour of the AGC unit, under AWGN conditions, is also presented.<>
