Abstract :
In a previous paper, a new theory of medium-fequency generators was expounded, by which it is possible to determine the complete characteristics (including peak) of these machines, a problem which had not hitherto been solved. The paper completes this theory by analysing the magnetic skin effect in laminas and showing that this effect leads, in certain cases, to a considerable decrease in the peak operating characteristics.
