Abstract :
With interdisciplinary research now so important in solving many of today´s global challenges, the boundaries of the ´electrical engineering´ fi eld are continuing to shift. In parallel, Electronics Letters has continued to develop its subject coverage since its very fi rst issue in 1965 when it was established to cover the spectrum of technologies under the umbrella term of ´modern electronics´. The broad scope of Electronics Letters, a feature that remains unique amongst the journals in this fi eld, gives it the flexibility to continue to represent the wider activities of today´s engineers as well as those of the next generation.
