Abstract :
The use of nuclear-magnetic-resonance spectroscopy in the analysis of 3-component reaction mixtures is described, employing simple techniques based on spectrum-integral measurements obtained from a 60MHz spectrometer of high resolution. The percentage of each component present can be measured to an accuracy of ±1.5%, although for small (less than about 5%) amounts of any one component, difficulty was experienced in gaining good spectrum signals of that component.
