Abstract :
A new decision-aided soft a posteriori probability (APP) algorithm for iterative differential phase-shift keying (DPSK) signal demodulation/decoding in a Rayleigh flat-fading channel is presented. Compared with conventional APP algorithms for iterative DPSK, the new algorithm results in considerably lower decoding cost yet can achieve nearly the same performance
