  • Abstract
    The paper describes the alarm analysis by digital-computer system which has been installed and is now operating at Oldbury nuclear power station. This is the first such plant in which alarm information has been presented to the operators by c.r.t. displays. The paper also shows how the predicted alarm fault patterns, on which the analysis is based, were prepared for programming. Some details of operational experience are also given and conclusions drawn.
