Abstract :
In October, Silicon Graphics Inc. and its supercomputing subsidiary, Cray Research, unveiled a highly scalable, modular architecture called the S2MP that extends the upper limits of symmetric multiprocessing architectures, while offering a smooth “pay as you grow” pricing structure.
