Abstract :
The external and internal algorithmic specification of an application-specific digital signal processor under development, dedicated to spectrometric applications, is presented. The processor is intended to perform the correction of spectrometric data subject to errors of diversified origins, using sophisticated digital-signal-processing algorithms. The set of algorithms to be implemented in the processor is proposed. Its suitability for implementation in an application-specific integrated circuit is demonstrated by functional design of the corresponding processor
