Abstract :
This paper presents a simple 4-D piecewise linear systems with beautiful butterfly chaotic attractor. The system is formulated by introducing an additional state variable into the 3D jerk system. Computer simulation is given to visualize the attractor, and a simple circuitry is designed for the system implementation. The experimental results are quite coincident with computer simulations. This system is quite easy to be implemented with circuit.
