Abstract :
The Auger Observatory presents novel challenges for triggering and data acquisition. The large area (3000 km2 for each of 2 sites) and large number of sensors (1600 per site) make the use of traditional wired connections impractical. In this paper I describe trigger and data acquisition systems incorporating radio links which have been designed for the Auger Observatory
