Abstract :
The automatic extraction of moving objects and construction of site models are key problems in video surveillance systems. A novel approach to segmenting moving objects from static scenes as well as acquiring background images automatically is presented. Experimental results on real video sequences demonstrate the robustness and accuracy of the algorithm
