Abstract :
A simplified technique based on constrained minimum output energy for joint time acquisition and demodulation of direct sequence/code division multiple access signals is presented. Also, a new method for proper determination of fictitious noise, ν, is proposed, and performance of coarse and fine code timing acquisition are shown
