Abstract
A new type of Class E rectifier that can regulate the output voltage or power is proposed. The proposed rectifier is composed of a conventional Class E zero-voltage-switching rectifier and the controlled shunt capacitor whose capacitance is variable according to the state of the active switches. With turning the active switches ON or OFF, the shunt capacitance of the rectifier can be changed, which enables the rectifier to vary the output voltage or power. This paper presents an analysis, experimental results, and simulation results in the steady state.
