  • Abstract
    The equations for the electrode error arising in dielectric measurements are presented in a form which shows how spurious loss peaks may be observed due to electrode effects. Measurements on some glasses with silver-electrode coatings give rise to such errors, whereas aluminium coatings are shown to be free from error.
