Abstract :
As the new Chair of the AP-S Distinguished Lecturer Program (DLP), I would like to introduce our newly formed committee and review our polices and procedures. I encourage all Chapter Chairs and officers to get familiar with the AP-S Distinguished Lecturer Program if your Chapter is not already taking advantage of it. Each Chapter is allowed two visits per year from a Distinguished Lecturer, with all expenses covered by the AP-S Distinguished Lecturer Program, up to a maximum limit (see below) and subject to availability of funds. A list of all of the available Distinguished Lecturer presentations is on the AP-S Web site Gust click on the link “Distinguished Lecturers”), and I invite you to browse through this. The process of arranging for a Distinguished Lecturer to visit your Chapter is easy (see below, under “Review of Polices”).
