Abstract :
This paper describes a circuit that converts a wide range of personal computer video formats to a target format. The conversion is based on the bisigmoidal interpolation, and look-up tables are used for efficient hardware implementation of that interpolation. The scan converter was modeled in VHDL and implemented as a single chip in a 0.6 μm CMOS semiconductor process
