Laboratory bench-top equipment calibration, involving I/Q channel balancing or circularity correction, can be a time-consuming aspect of an experimental setup. This issue´s Measurements Comer paper describes a helpful automated process, developed at the Naval Postgraduate School´s Microwave and Antenna Laboratory. This process not only speeds calibration time, but provides improved accuracy, as well.
