Abstract :
An approach to building an interpretation algorithm and a model of a natural spectral gamma-ray logging tool, based on the introduction of specific-metrological characteristics, is considered. The characteristics include the concentration sensitivities, radial sensitivities, and the geometrical factor of semispace for potassium, equilibrium uranium, and thorium. Metrological characteristics measured with a serial logging spectrometer and their application to solving the direct problems of gamma-ray log are considered
