Abstract :
With the development of economy, the market demand is more and more diverse and individual, and the multi-product and small-batch production mode has become a new development direction. The enterprise with lean production faces with more problems in the production, such as how to reduce inventory and waste. Traditional manufacturing system is driven by `Push system´ with huge inventory for customer´s needs. The `Pull system´ is an important way that can achieve JIT production and effectively promote the level of production and operation management in enterprise. This paper concludes the characteristics of the equilibrium production and the complete cycle of the pull production system, and presents the calculation method of the kanban quantity in detail through studying the implementation of pull production at a production line of chassis control system manufacturing company in China.
