Abstract :
The results of an experimental study, carried out to determine the influence of the proximity of transmission lines on residential magnetic fields, are reported in this paper. Measurements have been made of magnetic field intensities and exposures in 94 houses located near (<100 m) and far (>300 m) from 735 kV, 315 kV and 120 kV transmission lines. The experimental data obtained and some basic statistical analysis of the data are presented
