Abstract :
A novel silicon/metal/polyimide (SIMPOL) RF interconnect for broadband mixed signal silicon MMICs is proposed. Full-wave simulation using a pre-verified FDTD code reveals that extremely low crosstalk (<-100 dB) between adjacent channels up to 40 GHz can easily be achieved with this SIMPOL structure
