Abstract :
E-gov is becoming part of the virtual economic landscape and is plagued by the same lack of consumer trust that inhibits e-commerce transactions. Given that the citizens around the world have come to expect twenty-four hour availability in their commercial interactions, it is natural that they would expect the same from their governments. In order to be successful, an e-gov webpage must overcome a few challenges that are discussed in this paper. A survey qualifying the answers from the user´s perspective will also be analyzed.
