Abstract :
This paper presents our work on magnetic modeling of degaussing coils. The main reason for bad results on coils effects is a locally insufficient mesh. Instead of using a finer and expensive mesh, we propose an alternative method named “reduced potential jump” to solve the problem of coils and present comparative results on a simple geometry and on a ship model
