Abstract :
The organizations carrying the studies are identified, and the study models are described. The study process is outlined, and the role of computer software in the assessment of the interconnected transmission network is examined. The operating-year study, in which the effects of new facilities are incorporated into each utility´s internal planning process, is discussed.<>
