Abstract :
CDDS disseminates weather data using standardized data models (WXXM) and data services (OGC WCS, WFS). CDDS validates the NextGen SWIM Transformation Program for both Segments One and Two - Weather data can be distributed using SWIM-compliant software, security and messaging throughout the NAS and externally. CDDS enables real-time collaborative ATM technologies - Weather data can be automatically integrated with flight trajectory data into decision support tools enabling a more collaborative environment between airline operators and controllers.
