Abstract :
2D and 3D models of the electromagnetic field in a single hexagonal sheet tester of anisotropic magnetic material are evaluated. The feeding magnetic flux is a rotational symmetrical three-phase excitation of positive sequence. The nonlinear characteristics of the anisotropic magnetic material are represented by vector hysteresis, developed on measured data. The numerical analysis of the electromagnetic field, based on the global variational method for 2D and 3D models is evaluated to study the behaviour of the magnetic material under rotating magnetic field
