Abstract :
The authors are grateful to Prof. Kogan for calling to their attention the work in (Kogan, 1980), of which they were unaware. The approach he describes may have an advantage over their approach, since it appears that it requires less numerical work to formulate the set of simultaneous equations to be solved. They also thank Prof. Kogan for pointing out the need to select the proper branch in the TMoi case; in the higher order cases, we believe that the optimization should, in principle, find the minimum solution to Fano´s equations.
